JD for BDE

The Business Development Executive is responsible for securing new revenue within HELIUS’ existing portfolio of clients as well as seeking out new clients. The role is expected to have a focus on hunting new business.

Business Development Executive’s main job is to find sales leads (National as well international – Private and Government projects), pitch the company’s services to prospective clients and ensure to have a great working relationship with all contacts.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities via Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer, LinkedIn, B2B, and so on.
  • Develop/maintain strategic and operational sales plan based on market research, analysis of the company for assigned territory.
  • Create a winning sales plan working with the solutions team that meets customer requirements and company objectives.
  • The primary role is to generate and qualify leads through market research, cold calling, and other lead generation tools.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on lead conversion rates and funnel status.
  • Identify decision-makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process.
  • Meet or exceed Sales Goals – Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly.
  • Set up meetings between client decision-makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
  • Plan approaches and pitches.
  • Work with a team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Business Development Strategy making and Planning.
  • Schedule and attend client meetings, ensuring that the number of meetings meets targets as set by management.
  • Attend industry conferences, events, and meet-ups to expand professional networks.
  • Represent the company at various forums to enhance brand visibility.
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales:
    • Lead generation (National & International)
    • Find new projects
    • Credential pitch
    • Client Acquisition
    • Market research
    • Prepare proposal & detailed costing and prepare contract documents for review by superiors to negotiate with clients.
    • Present effective and professional presentations on HELIUS’ services.
    • Meet goals & deadlines
BDE will be responsible for developing the pipeline of new business.
